And this week’s video of the week…drumroll please…The Transatlantic Maxi Yacht Cup Race Video!
You may also recognize it as the Atlantic crossing on Wally 100 Indio with VOR-sailors on YouTube. Why we like this video: Because it gives a real perspective of what it’s like to be on a yacht during a long transatlantic race. The camera crew followed this sailing crew and news reporter followed this sailing crew on their boat the Indio, for a few weeks while participating the race.
At one point, the AC Sailor on board said, “This is a lot harder than the Volvo Ocean Race, because the seas in the South are different. I’m not sure if I’ll ever do this race again…this year.” What an experience! See it for yourself in this video. It’s a little bit longer than our other videos we typically post, but it moves quick and is pretty entertaining. Have a great week and go out and get wet!
