Followup on Gill Regatta Deckhand Long-Finger Gloves

When you thing of gear, you think of Gill. At the top of my Birthday list this past year, was a pair of Gill Regatta Deckhand Long-Finger Gloves. My wish was granted (I’m such a lucky guy) and they showed up on my doorstep birthday morning. Since I originally wrote a post them in November 2010, I thought I would do a follow-up on how they performed during last year’s sailing season.

Features I love:

  • They have the half finger design so my finger tips are still free on my thumb and index finger
  • They are sturdy, yet comfortable to wear.
  • They have a good snug fit. Not to tight that it’s uncomfortable to take off or on, but not so loose they drive me crazy.

They ended up costing about $35 which is more than I have ever paid for a pair of sailing gloves, but I’m certain it’s becuase it has the Gill label on it.

When you think of sailing equipment, Gill is the first brand name that comes to mind. They live up to their reputation and I can hardly wait to try out more of their products we get further into the season.

Now for the most important question: would I recommend these gloves…Absolutely.
