Have you ever felt that urge to take your Hobie 18 out to the sand dunes and see if it will sail? We have, and now that we have found this video we know we can do it. It’s possible to sail the Hobie 16 on sand…and apparently straight into the water without ever having to leave the boat. Check out this retro video Hobie just posted to their FB Page . We were impressed and had a good chuckle at the same time.
